Fall Football

Gahanna Youth Football provides a competitive and supportive environment for young athletes in grades 3-6. As part of the Central Ohio Youth Football League (COYFL), we focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing at a high level. Our program is dedicated to building confidence, discipline, and a love for the game in a fun and structured setting.

Eligibility

Grades 3rd - 6th

Three (3) Divisions, two (2) Teams each:

Junior (3rd/4th)
5th Grade
Senior (6th Grade)

When

End of July - End of October

McCorkle Park

200 McCutcheon Road, Gahanna, Ohio, 43230.

Practices

First mandatory practice is July 28th from 6pm - 8pm, Monday - Thursday.

Once school starts, Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm - 730pm.

Games

We are a Central Ohio travel league playing teams across the central Ohio area. Home games will be played at Gahanna Middle School West. We will play a 6-8 game fall Schedule.

Regular season games are played on Sundays with the season typically beginning the last weekend in August and runs through the end of October. Game schedules are set by our league and will not be available until the week of our first game.

Uniform/Equipment provided with registration:

Certified helmet (rental)
Certified shoulder pads (rental)
Practice jersey (rental)
Practice integrated pants (rental)
Game pants (rental)
Game reversible jersey (own)

Fundraising

Participation in at least one (1) fundraising event is required for each child. Fundraising covers field (practice and game) usage and insurance.

2025 Season

Gahanna Lions Youth Football League (Tackle, Grades 3-4, 5th, or 6th): Your athlete will have a blast learning the fundamentals of football! Volunteer coaches will lead teams competing in a league consisting of teams from neighboring suburban communities. Players will learn all fundamentals of tackle football, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Gahanna Youth Football Voluntary Practices: Date & Time TBD (Coaches’ Meetings to follow)

Fee: $315 (all players receive a reversible jersey) Helmet & Pads will be provided by the league for each team.

*Practice days & times are subject to change, all schedules to be finalized early August. Registration to close July 6th.
